David Osbourne recently joined the very successful team of sales agents at Highland Homes, and we would like to take a moment to welcome him. He is going to be selling homes in BridgeWater and Wind Meadows. He will definitely have his hands full since BridgeWater is one of our most popular communities, featuring Lakeland new homes in a master-planned community equipped with an 18 hole golf course. Wind Meadows is another extraordinary community that offers affordable new homes in Bartow. We are so excited to have David’s expertise at both of these communities.

David has been licensed in real estate since 2001 and, offering a little more than your average real estate agent, he also has a general contractor license. This combination makes him perfect for new home sales as he can answer any construction questions the home shoppers may have. Prior to joining Highland Homes, he was employed with a national home builder for two years. And, almost completely unrelated to real estate, he is CPR certified, which makes him a good man to have around in case of an emergency.

An interesting tidbit about David is that he is a dual citizen. While originally from Canada, he is currently a resident in Clearwater. In 1999, he graduated from Centennial College in Toronto with a degree in business administration. He made quite a name for himself in Canada with his exceptional karate skills. From 1999 to 2002, David was a black belt champion in Ontario. Gaining even more recognition in the martial arts, he won the silver medal in the Canadian National Championship in 2002. If you want, you could get a workout in with this  champion as he is a personal trainer and Karate instructor – something to ask him about when you visit him at BridgeWater or Wind Meadows.
