Orlando Ranked No. 6 in Employment Satisfaction in the U.S.

Orlando new homes
Once you have found a job that you love, it is time to purchase an Orlando new home that you love from Highland Homes.

In a commencement speech to Stamford University graduates in 2005, Steve Jobs declared that “the only way to do great work is to love what you do.” Getting up for work each morning is a far easier task if you love what you do and for Orlando home buyers, not only is Orlando home to the “Happiest Place on Earth,” but it is also one of the happiest places to work. According to Glassdoor, a leading employee opinion group, Orlando ranks sixth in the U.S. for employment satisfaction.

To determine their rankings of the “50 Best U.S. Cities for Employment Satisfaction,” Glassdoor selected the 50 largest cities in the U.S. and based their report on metro populations, and each metro had at least 500 reviews shared on Glassdoor by local employees over the past year.

Orlando’s overall satisfaction rating of 3.3 earned the city top honors for Florida and 6th place of the 50 cities ranked.  San Jose, CA ranked No. 1 with an overall satisfaction rating of 3.4 with San Francisco coming in a close second.

Orlando’s high ranking for employment satisfaction comes shortly after being named the second smartest city in the nation. With employment and education being two of the primary factors on any buyer’s checklist, it is no wonder that Orlando real estate is booming.
