First Step of Construction of My Highland Home

Welcome back again! Quick update for you - Some exciting things have been happening since my last blog post. My house was released to start construction!

What does that mean, you ask? Well, it means that the lender has supplied the builder with all the necessary loan approvals so they can start building my home. My house isn't quite ready to start construction yet, but we have entered the next phase of the building process. The builder is currently gathering all the necessary information about my house to file for the proper permits. Depending on the location where you build, permits can take a few weeks.

The Highland Sales team gives a detailed checklist showing what is going on during the entire home building process. This tool is a great resource as you can start on the first page, and check off each step that you have completed, and know what is coming next.
