Orlando New Home Contest Coming Soon for Disney Employees

Posted by Highland Homes on January 20, 2012 | Comments (1)

orlando new homesNext to Disney World, the Orlando new homes at Deer Creek, Andover and Mystery Ridge are the happiest place on Earth. Why? Because of all of the wonderful Disney employees who call these communities home. In fact, we love the smiles and cheerful attitudes that each person brings to our communities so much that we want to show our appreciation.

That’s why we’re announcing the “Why I Love Highland Homes” video contest, just for our wonderful Disney residents. To participate, Disney employees should contact Carmen Arbizu to set up an appointment to make a video by calling 407-593-2115 or just stop by the Deer Creek sales office. The video should explain your favorite part of owning a Highland Home or what you loved most about your Highland Homes experience.

The videos will then be posted on a special Facebook page. The video that receives the most likes will receive a special prize. However, everyone is a winner. Highland Homes will give you a $10 coupon just for participating. Read More→

Winter Haven new homesThe New Year is a time for fresh starts and new beginnings, and it seems that we’ll be seeing both here in Florida. Those shopping for new homes and new jobs will be happy to hear that Winter Haven and Lakeland homes will be in the center of an economic expansion, according to the recent Forbes.com article “Where the Jobs Will (and Won’t) Be in 2012.”

Both cities plan to increase their workforces at an accelerated rate this year as compared to other metropolitan areas in the country, and several key factors are contributing to this growth. In Winter Haven, the highly anticipated theme park, Legoland Florida, opened and brought with it approximately 1,100 jobs, and the Winter Haven Chamber of Commerce reports upcoming employment opportunities with CSX and planned retail developments.

In addition to the development in Winter Haven, Lakeland is home to many corporate headquarters including Publix, Geico and WellDyne RX, all of which have been in a hiring mode, and Coca-Cola recently announced expansion of their Auburndale facility. Read More→

Tampa new homes at Sunset Hills

We are excited to announce that we have expanded our presence in Pasco County and are now selling Tampa new homes in Dade City, Fl. at Sunset Hills.  Sunset Hills is not only a new community for Highland Homes, but offers a new type of product for us – through a community partnership with Pasco County, every buyer will get $50,000 in Down Payment Assistance and pay no closing costs – wow!

We have always been Central Florida’s Value Leader and specialized in creative financing options.  The amount of down payment assistance is the largest assistance program we have ever been involved with, and there are certain restrictions that do apply for buyers to qualify.

This is the largest assistance program that we have ever offered, and it makes owning the Highland Home of your dreams more affordable than ever. The great thing about this program is that buyers will have a house payment much lower than rent. Payments will range from about $600 for a three bedroom, two bath to about $850 for a four bedroom, 3.5 bath home. Read More→
