Highland Homes Wins Home of the Year for its Winter Haven Home at Overlook Ridge

The Parade of Homes is going on in Polk County, and at Highland Homes we’re pleased to announce that we have won another award for our newest community of Winter Haven homes. Overlook Ridge is located off Overlook Road just south of Dundee Road in Winter Haven. The new model center was finished just in time for the Parade of Homes on Saturday, Oct. 29. Homes are judged in several price ranges, and every year we have entered a home in the Parade, we have won the coveted “Home of the Year” award for our entry.
This year was no different, and the new Edinburgh II model at Overlook Ridge was awarded the top prize in our price category. The model was decorated by Highland Homes’ award-winning designer, Stacey Antonakos-Perez, who is also our Personal Selection Studio manager. Tampa Home Builder Highland a Sponsor of Gator Harley-Davidson’s “Salute to Veterans”

Tampa home builder Highland Homes salutes our nation’s uniformed men and women, and we are proud to partner up with Gator Harley-Davidson in Leesburg for their Nov. 5 Salute to Veterans ride and event, benefitting Disabled American Veterans.
The festivities begin at 9:30 a.m. at Gator Harley-Davidson with a pancake breakfast, and kickstands will go up at 11:30 a.m. for a police escorted ride to Stormy Hill Harley-Davidson in Clermont. There will be live music and drawings for prizes throughout the day.
The cost is $15 a rider and $10 a passenger. The first 350 people registered will receive breakfast, lunch dog tag and entry to win a $1,000 Gator/Stormy Hill gift card!

Celebrate Veterans Day near Tampa New Homes at Hudson Seafest 2011

Polk County Parade of Homes Features two Models from Local Lakeland Home Builder

The Polk County Fall Parade of Homes will be held on Oct. 29 and 30 and Nov. 5 and 6, and Lakeland home builder Highland Homes is excited to have not one, but two beautiful models entered in the Parade this year.

Halloween is right around the corner and instead of candy, this Winter Haven home builder vants your blood! That’s right; we’re hosting a Spook-Tacular Blood Drive to benefit the Winter Haven Hospital Community Blood Center, and we’re inviting each and every one of you to join in on the fun.

Almost Time for Legoland Florida to Open Near Winter Haven New Homes!

Whether you’ve been patiently passing the time or pacing back and forth in your Winter Haven new homes in anticipation of the Grand Opening of Legoland Florida, your wait is almost over! The theme park is on schedule to open to the general public on Oct. 15, with construction crews putting the finishing touches on the park just this past Wednesday.
The new park is an exciting addition to the Winter Haven area and will feature roller coasters, a water ski show, various models made out of Legos, two driving schools where children and adults alike will be able to steer mini-Lego cars and control simulation airplanes and more.
