Free Credit Building Workshops for Home Shoppers
One of the biggest obstacles in buying a home is getting approved for a mortgage. With the high number of foreclosures and short sales, lenders are less willing to grant approvals when it comes to a mortgage loan. So, what do you do if your credit score is less than perfect?
Well, get the answer to this question and more as well as learn what it takes to purchase a new home at the free credit workshop from Highland Homes. They are offering two dates – Thursday, January 28th from 6 to 8 p.m. and Saturday, January 30th from 1 to 3 p.m.
When it comes to your credit, there is really no such thing as having too much information. You need to know the little things that are hurting your score and ways to remedy it. You need to know how long it may take for your score to improve. At these two workshops, there will be a credit rep on hand to pull your credit report free of charge and answer every question you may have about it. In addition, you’ll learn if you have the necessary score to be qualified for a home mortgage, and, if that answer is no, you’ll learn what you can do to help boost your score quickly.
Each session is limited to only 30 people, so you need to RSVP to claim your space. RSVP by sending an email to k.mcdaniel [at] highlandhomes [dot] org. Don’t let what you don’t know about your credit prevent you from purchasing a new home this year.
