UPDATE on Cypress Creek Town Center in Pasco County
Project officials had to overcome several obstacles surrounding the long-awaited Cypress Creek Town Center shopping center, but preliminary plans for the project have been submitted and construction is expected to now move forward. For the residents of our popular Greens at Hidden Creek and Ten Oaks communities in Zephyrhills, this means shopping sprees at the new mall could begin by summer of 2015!
The enormous premium outlet mall will be comprised of nine buildings and is set to be built in seven phases by developers JG Cypress Creek LLC and Tampa Premium Outlets LLC. Although some revisions were made to the originally submitted plan (including changes made to layout, parking spaces, and several other features), the project remains the same in many other respects and will still feature 1.1 million square feet of retail space. Phase one of development will begin with the outlet mall itself, upon receiving the stamp of approval from Pasco County officials.
Conveniently located off I-75 near Wesley Chapel Boulevard, the mall is expected to draw in Pasco County shoppers, as well as residents of nearby Hernando and Hillsborough Counties. Many popular retailers are expected to call the shopping center home including Saks Off 5th.
As a Tampa Bay homebuilder, we look forward to watching this exciting project unfold and the great opportunities it holds for the local economy and residents in our Greens at Hidden Creek and Ten Oaks communities, located just 10 miles away.
