Meet the Raychel Home Plan

The Raychel home plan boasts 1,819 square feet of exceptional living space with four bedrooms, two bathrooms, and a two-car garage. With a Craftsman-style exterior, an open layout ideal for entertaining, and even outdoor living space, it’s no surprise that the Raychel is a homeowner favorite! In fact, the Raychel was modeled after our beloved Parker home plan, and offers a very similar layout with more square footage including a larger living area and luxurious owner’s suite.

Our professional design team aims to decorate model homes in a style that you can see yourself living in. Considering how you’ll use each space, what your budget might be for furniture and décor, and your general lifestyle guides the design team as they decorate each new model home.

For the Raychel model home at Bridgeport Lakes, Stacey Antonakas-Perez, Design Center Manager and lead model decorator, chose a French country theme with different shades of blue. The main furniture in the home comes from American Signature Furniture, an affordable option that has readily available pieces you might choose for your own home!

Open Living Area and Kitchen

The Raychel’s open living area is the ideal layout for gathering and entertaining. The spacious gathering room, open kitchen, and sunny dining café, all under an airy ceiling, ensure that your home is the center of activity and that you quickly become the ‘hostess with the most-ess!’

The open kitchen boasts a large counter-height island with room to seat four to six people. It’s also the perfect spot to serve from when having parties, hosting holiday functions, or offering a buffet-style meal to the fam.

The medium-dark wood cabinets of the kitchen provide a nice contrast to the white décor in the adjacent gathering room and are capped with striking white marble-look countertops.

Unwind and Relax at Home

“One of my favorite things about this home is the owner’s suite,” says Stacey. “It’s a very classy, elegant space. We added a chair rail and trim work around the whole room, and the soft blue accent paint used below the chair rail and on the tray ceiling is both soothing and a breath of fresh air!”

The suite is spacious enough for large-scale furniture, notes Stacey, and the design team took full advantage with a king-sized sleigh bed, two nightstands, and a large dresser - and this still leaves ample open floor space!

“I just want to sink into that big, comfy, upholstered bed – don’t you?!” said Stacey.

In addition to the spacious bedroom, the owner’s suite includes a walk-in closet and an en-suite bathroom with dual vanities, a large tiled, glass-enclosed shower, and a linen closet for storage convenience.

Flexible Rooms for Your Lifestyle

The Raychel home plan boasts three additional bedrooms that offer plenty of space for children, guests, working from home – whatever your lifestyle demands. The design team chose to decorate two bedrooms as kids' rooms, with the front bedroom as a home office. You’ll notice the same white, warm wood, and calming blue tones used throughout the home, and the office has a fun accent wall designed with millwork and a dusty blue paint color – the perfect backdrop for those work-from-home conference calls!
