The three new models offer design inspiration with each model decorated with a unique decor style, and for different lifestyle needs.
“Before deciding on a color and décor scheme for any model, we meet with Highland Homes’ Vice President of Sales to discuss the needs of the prospective home buyers in the community,” said Stacey Antonakos-Perez, Design Center Manager and Highland Homes’ premier model decorator. “Our goal when decorating the townhomes at Tuscany Bay was to showcase the versatility of the layouts and different ways to utilize the space, illustrating how these homes are a perfect fit for young professionals, growing families or empty-nesters.”
The first model home, featuring the Chardonnay plan, incorporates a rustic design with dark wood, copper and green elements. Typically, this design style and the colors selected appeal to a more mature audience, and the design team kept that in mind when decorating the home.
“Instead of making the secondary bedrooms into children’s rooms, we decorated them with a more mature audience in mind,” said Stacey. “One bedroom is designed as an older girl’s room, while another is a guest bedroom with a desk area.”
The Chardonnay also has a large great room so the design team decided to divide the space through creative furniture placement, creating a traditional family room with a separate dining area.
The second model, the Merlot home plan, showcases a modern, on-trend white and gray color scheme with rich gold and muted pastel accents. The modern décor has a clean, simple, fresh feel, and the neutral base colors of this home make it easy to visualize your own furniture and finishing touches!
Finally, the Riesling model townhome has a casual farmhouse feel with rustic wood and metals accented by light greens and earthy colors. The Riesling layout also has a large great room so Stacey and the design team incorporated a desk area right in the living space, showing how you can have a home office space while both secondary bedrooms are utilized as kid’s rooms.
The design team also wanted to provide reminders of the community’s location near sparkling Tampa beaches and waterways. Each model home has a room that gives you the sense of being near the water through details like wainscoting on the walls and ceiling, coastal lanterns, and beach pictures or themes, such as the mermaid theme in the girl’s bedroom in the Riesling.
Speaking of water, you’ll enjoy access to exclusive community amenities at Tuscany Bay including a resort-style swimming pool with a cabana which will be opening this summer. In addition, a gated community entrance adds to your privacy, and common areas and wetlands conservation offer relaxing views, with select homes enjoying backyard privacy. And, you’ll have plenty of time to enjoy these amenities thanks to Tuscany Bay’s low-maintenance lifestyle, where your exterior and lawn maintenance, water and sewer utilities, basic cable, and garbage collection are provided by the Homeowner’s Association (HOA).
Tuscany Bay is located off Big Bend Road, just west of I-75 near top shopping, dining, recreation, beaches, entertainment and outdoor attractions. The community is convenient to US-301, US-41, the Selmon Expressway (Crosstown) and I-4, creating easy travel routes throughout the Tampa Bay area.
