Sales of New Homes in Orlando Continue to Improve

At this point, there is no denying that the Florida housing market is recovering and building momentum as existing home sales and new home starts continue to improve. Specifically, sales of new homes in Orlando have sharply risen as more and more buyers have been moving to central Florida.
According to housing research firm Metrostudy, Orlando new home sales in the fourth quarter of 2012 were up 47 percent from the fourth quarter in 2011 and up 38 percent for the entire year. The Orlando Regional REALTOR® Association also reported an increase of almost 20 percent in the number of sales overall, an increase in traditional sales and a decrease in short sales and foreclosures. Prices for Orlando New Homes on the Rise
