We entered our model home at St. James Crossing in the Polk County Parade of Homes, and I am proud to announce that we swept the awards in the $140,000 – $155,000 category! Our Casa Key II model home won the Best Exterior, Floor Plan, Kitchen, Master Bath, Overall Quality and Home of the Year. We could not be more excited!
The 2010 Spring Parade of Homes took place on April 17, 18, 24 and 25. It’s a great event sponsored by the Polk County Builders Association, and it gives home shoppers the opportunity to tour a variety of different products and price points available in the Polk country real estate market. The latest digital postcard from Highland Homes highlights the many new and exciting things taking place with the company. While there are many great things brewing for Highland Homes, the most notable are the three new communities that have recently opened – St. James Crossing, Deer Creek and Crescent View. While opening three new communities is a tremendous feat all in itself, especially taking into consideration the current state of the economy, it’s even more impressive that Highland Homes is venturing into a new market with one them. Deer Creek is the first Orland new home community for Highland Homes, and we are beyond elated to finally break into this exciting market. Despite having been open only a couple of weeks, we have already sold our first home!
The two other communities, St. James Crossing and Crescent View, both feature new homes in Winter Haven. St. James Crossing is a little closer to Auburndale and only minutes from the Polk Parkway and I-4, while Crescent View is more on the southern tip of Winter Haven only five minutes from Cypress Gardens and Eagle Lake Mall. St. James Crossing’s Model Grand Opening

St. James Crossing had the grand opening of their new model center and it was a huge success. Located in Auburndale, Florida off Hwy 17/92, this community is convenient to shopping and major highways. The Grand Opening was both Saturday and Sunday and over 20 new visitors stopped by to view the model center. Brenda Briggs, the community sales manager took 3 deposits for new contracts and expects to see more in the new few weeks.
The community offers nearly 30 floor plans ranging from 1,100 square feet to over 2,600 square feet, one and two story homes with 3-5 bedrooms and 2 and 3 bathrooms. The model is the Casa Key II with 3 bedrooms, 2 baths, a luxury master suite, great room with vaulted ceilings, kitchen with nook and double door entry. Model Home to Open Soon at St. James Crossing

Watch for the new model grand opening in St. James Crossing, Highland Homes newest community featuring Winter Haven new homes. Brenda Briggs, the community sales manager has been working out of a sales trailer since May, while the construction of the model is gong on right next door to her. Last week, the design team installed the window treatments and furniture. And this week, we anticipate all the final touches will be done so that the model center will open for business on August 21st.
The new model is the Casa Key II spec, which has 3 bedrooms, 2 baths, a 2 car garage and screened lanai. This home is awesome inside and out with the double door entry, large, open foyer, high, volume ceilings, breakfast bar and luxury maser suite.
