How far will your paycheck go in Florida? Well, according to a recent study by Glassdoor, a website that offers information on jobs and companies, in Tampa your paycheck will get you a lot.
The study was cited in a current Forbes article, The 25 Cities Where Your Paycheck Will Go The Furthest. According to the article, Glassdoor examined the median salaries and home prices in 50 of the most populated metros in the U.S. to determine the cities where residents will get the most bang for their buck. And, it comes at no surprise that the combination of Tampa, Florida’s median home value of $149,500 and excellent earning potential landed it in the No. 19 spot of cities that have the most favorable cost of living to income ratio.
