Design Studio Manager

Stacey Antonakos-Perez

Hello, I’m Stacey and I’ve been honored to be the Manager of the Highland Homes Personal Selection Studio since 2008.

I graduated in 2003 from the University of South Florida with a bachelor's degree in Interpersonal and Organizational Communications and a minor in Merchandising. Throughout college, I played sports, worked as a leasing consultant, and was a soccer recruiter/coach. Upon graduation, I took a job with a custom builder, Bayfair Homes, in the design department as a Client Service Coordinator and collaborated with Griffin Designs, a local Tampa interior design firm, to design clients’ custom homes. Throughout my time with Bayfair, I took several design and art classes hosted by the International Academy of Design & Technology and worked side by side with Coastal Living Magazine as they built the home of the year in Mirabay in 2005.

In 2006, I left Bayfair and accepted a job as a Senior Design Consultant with a fast-paced national builder. Then, in March 2008, I seized the opportunity to join Highland Homes as the Design Studio Manager. Here, I am responsible for staffing and managing the design studio, assisting buyers with selections, designing and coordinating model homes, and working with vendors and purchasing to keep the design studio up to date with the latest products and home design trends.

I live in the Land O’ Lakes area with my husband and three kids. In my off time, I enjoy being on the soccer field either watching my kids, coaching, or playing a game. I am also involved in my kids’ school and sports teams, and enjoy volunteering for different organizations throughout the community.
