Situated on the shores of East Lake Tohopekaliga, this close-knit community offers everything from fantastic weather and affordable home prices to a plethora of amenities and activities just minutes away!

1. Visit a Local Market Event

Support local farmers, makers, and businesses at three fantastic local market events in the St. Cloud area:

• For the best selection of local honey, produce, meats, and treats, the St. Cloud Farmer's Market is held every Saturday from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m. on 13th Street in St. Cloud.
• Browse fresh produce, baked goods, artisan crafts, and more while catching up with neighbors in a beautiful waterfront setting! The Lake Nona Dockside Farmer’s Market runs seasonally from June to September on the first and third Wednesday of the month, from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m., at Dockside Lake Nona (13623 Sachs Ave, Orlando, FL 32827).
• Locals and visitors love gathering at the Downtown St. Cloud Monthly Market. Held the last Wednesday of each month in historic Downtown St. Cloud, this energetic nighttime market hosts live music and entertainment and an array of vendors offering local Florida goods, with everything from jewelry and clothing to plants and home decor. Plus, businesses and restaurants stay open late, inviting you to shop and dine local.

2. Boxi Park

One of the coolest spaces in town, Boxi Park is the perfect spot for gathering, chatting, sipping, and supping. This outdoor venue, constructed from repurposed shipping containers, houses restaurants and cantinas centered around a shaded courtyard. A stage offers up live music and entertainment Thursday through Sunday, including popular bands and DJs, and you can even host your private events here!

And it's not just for adults - A kid’s playground is fun for children of all ages, Barxi Park is a fenced-in, off-leash play area for your pup, and two sand volleyball courts let you join in a game and enjoy some fun in the sun!

Whether you stop by for a bite, stroll through after walking Lake Nona's trails, or work up an appetite on the court, Boxi's outdoor counter-serve restaurants serve everything from brunch to lobster rolls and tacos, along with craft beer, cocktails, and non-alcoholic beverages.

3. Nona Adventure Park

Watersports lovers, rejoice! Living in a new home in Narcoossee means you’re never far away from water fun. Nona Adventure Park is an outdoor fun center for all ages in the center of Lake Nona. Enjoy a bite to eat and beautiful lake scenery at Splashes Bar & Grill, an open-air eatery, or start your wakeboarding journey at the lake’s cable park, ranked the top park for beginners. Kids can even enjoy an exciting summer camp experience at the lake from late May through early August.

The real star of the show is the aqua park, a giant, floating Aqua Park obstacle course. Thrill seekers enjoy 1,000 feet of fun with space to climb, run, jump, and more. If you prefer land-based adventure, head over to the climbing tower, which includes a ropes course, twin sky ropes for racing, climbing walls, and platforms giving you a bird’s-eye view of the entire area.

Relaxation more your speed? Floating aqua cabanas and beachside cabanas are a great place to relax and enjoy some food and beverages.

4. Lakefront Park and Beach

Located on Lakeshore Boulevard along the shores of East Lake Tohopekaliga, Lakefront Park in St. Cloud is a picturesque place to stop and enjoy the sunshine. Soak up the rays while lying out on the sandy beach, take the kids to play on the playground and splash pad, ramp up the heat with a game of sand volleyball, or run, bike, or walk along the more than 2 miles of trails. For water lovers, you can fish from the pier or the shoreline, rent a boat from the marina, or launch your own at the public boat ramp.

Stick around for dinnertime and grab a bite overlooking the water at Crabby Bills on the Lakefront, or enjoy a homemade meal from the charcoal grills under the covered pavilions.

5. Enjoy a Round of Golf

Stroll through fragrant flowers, palm trees, and climbing vines, artfully designed to showcase the artwork and invite discovery.

Located adjacent to the Lake Nona Wave Hotel, the Lake Nona Sculpture Garden is an exciting addition to the city's community art program. It is free to visit, and they even host events such as Yoga in the Garden.

7. Split Oak Forest and Environmental Area

Located just a short drive from Narcoossee, Split Oak Forest is a conservation area named for a spectacular 200-year-old live oak tree that split down the middle – and survived! When you visit this beautiful park, you have access to miles of scenic trails for horseback riding, hiking, and mountain biking. And of course, it’s a prime wildlife viewing spot, from songbirds and gopher tortoises to butterflies and woodpeckers. As you explore the more than 9 miles of trails, you’ll wander through a variety of habitats, including pine flatwoods, hardwood hammocks, cypress swamps, and wet prairies.

8. Moss Park

Sandwiched between Lake Hart and Lake Mary Jane in Orlando, Moss Park is the perfect spot to spend a few hours or an entire weekend! Tent and RV camping opportunities are available in this picturesque location with access to plenty of water-based activities.

Spend your day on the water thanks to the park’s kayak, canoe, and boat launches, or fish from your boat, the boardwalk, or the shoreline. When you’re not on the water, enjoy a leisurely picnic by the lake, or hike the trails that meander throughout the park.

9. Take an Airboat Tour of Lake Toho

One of the most unique adventures available in the local area is an airboat tour of Lake Tohopekaliga! This large lake is located just a few miles from Narcoossee and is home to an abundance of wildlife, including alligators, turtles, and a variety of bird species. Airboat tours are the ideal way to see all of this wildlife up close, while safely out of the water.

Our favorite experience is the sunset cruise. This 90-minute cruise offers a stunning showcase of nature's beauty, with the sun slowly descending as the boat slowly motors across the lake.
