The Highland Homes website recently got a makeover! You may have noticed a few design changes, and several tools were implemented to make it even easier to find the Florida new home of your dreams.
Our website has featured a responsive design for a few years, and the new design has an improved layout, buttons and menus that are easier to view and use on mobile devices and tablets. So, you can easily find all the information you need about our communities and homes whether you are browsing from your desktop computer, tablet or mobile device.
Along with the improved front end design, a new management system provides better photo optimization which means faster load times, improved photo displays and captions to help you identify the Florida homes and communities you are looking at.
Faster Load Times
With the new content management system, not only the photos but the pages overall on our website now load faster and are better optimized for mobile devices. Images will scale down to different sizes, depending on the device you’re accessing our website from. So, whether you’re using a computer, tablet or mobile phone, images and text on our website will load in 1 to 2 seconds, saving you time.
New Search Filters
To make it easy for you to find a home that matches your needs and desires, you will now find search filters for Ready to Own Homes and on Community Plans & Pricing pages. Searching for a 3-bedroom, 2-story home at Berkley Reserve in Auburndale? Available home plans that meet your criteria are as easy to see as 1-2-3!
Additional Community Information
There are two pieces of information consistently requested by homebuyers shopping on our website, and we are happy to announce we now include the plan of each community’s model home and HOA dues, as applicable.
Plus, we’ve made it even easier for you to learn about the local area in which our homes are built. Now, when you click on the Local Information tab on any community page, such as Lake Doe Reserve in Apopka, you’ll see an interactive map showcasing nearby schools, medical facilities, pet services, recreation, dining, civic services, grocery stores, shopping and attractions. All maps are based in Google and updated regularly, so you’ll always have access to the most up-to-date points of interest near your new home.
To make it even easier to contact us and request more information or assistance with finding your dream home, we’ve added contact forms on nearly every page of our site.
More Tools Coming Soon
In addition to all of the wonderful changes that we made, the new website design is setting the stage for us to add even more tools in the future, such as an Online Design Studio which should be live by 2016!
Check out the new and improved Highland Homes website and let us know what you think! And, fill out one of our simple contact forms or give us a call for additional assistance with finding the Florida new home of your dreams!
