If where to find a new Central Florida home conveniently located between Orlando and Tampa is your question, then we have the answer! Highland Meadows, a community of new homes in Davenport, Florida, where the brand-new model center is now open! Located in Phase VII, our current phase under construction, the new model center features the Parker and Begonia floor plans, and homes priced from the $210’s. Both homes highlight the latest in our home plan options, finish choices, design possibilities, and we invite you to come see for yourself and schedule a visit.

The Parker home plan offers 1,715 square feet with four bedrooms, two bathrooms, and plentiful living space. As one of our most popular plans, homeowners love this home’s fully open living area comprised of a large gathering room, open kitchen with counter-height island and walk-in pantry, and a sunny dining café. A spacious owner’s suite features an impressive walk-in closet and luxurious en-suite bath, while the secondary bedrooms share a convenient hall bath and linen closet. Additional features found in the Parker include a drop zone at the garage entry, a dedicated laundry room, front porch, a covered lanai with optional access from the owner’s suite, and multiple Craftsman-style exterior elevations to choose from.

The professional design team at the Highland Homes Personal Selection Studio decorated the Parker model home with a complementary mixture of grays and beiges to create the popular “greige” color scheme. The main living area and owner’s suite both feature extensive white and gray fabric with white or light wood tones. A gray, beige, and white rug was added underneath the sofa to compliment the overall “greige” theme and tie the open living space together. The front bedroom was designed as a home office to illustrate how this home plan can accommodate our changing environment, which may include remote working or virtual learning. Two other secondary bedrooms were decorated as children’s rooms.

“I knew I wanted gray and white in the girl’s room with accents of soft pink flowers, and a little girl’s tea room came to mind,” said Stacey Antonakos-Perez, Model Designer and Manager of the Highland Homes Personal Selection Studio. “For the boy’s room, I was seeing a lot of silver and metals, so I decided on a ‘shining knights’ theme. We had a cool custom headboard made by Core Construction for this room!”

The second model home features the Begonia floor plan, a home boasting 1,486 square feet with three bedrooms and two bathrooms. The open living area encompasses the spacious gathering room, sunny dining café, and an open kitchen with a counter-height island. A split layout provides the ultimate in privacy for homeowners with an owner’s suite on one of the side home, and two additional bedrooms on the opposite.

Our professional designers chose darker wood tones for the finishes in the Begonia model home, complimented by beige tones.

“We had so many different ideas for the living room, which was a fun space to decorate because of it’s large, open layout,” said Antonakos-Perez. “We chose a large, rustic wood wall unit that was nearly 12 feet long and it fit great! We also added a sofa, loveseat, two oversized chairs, a three-piece table set, blanket ladder and sofa table!”

The cozy owner’s suite is also decorated in rustic, darker wood tones, bright white textiles and trim, and accents of seafoam green. The two secondary bedrooms are decorated as a nursery and guest room. The nursery features a fun “Lion King” theme, while the guest bedroom features a full bed and nightstand that doubles as a desk. “I love the idea of a tall tower on the side of the bed that can be used as a nightstand and a desk area with a chair,” continued Antonakos-Perez.

Located off of CR 547/Davenport Blvd. just east of US 27, Highland Meadows provides convenience to I-4 and daily necessities, including the Posner Park shopping center and grocery stores including Publix and ALDI. Orlando’s world-famous attractions are also close to home thanks to Davenport’s central location between Orlando and Tampa.
