As you move closer to building your dream home, you will receive a brochure checklist so you can keep track of your home’s progress and know exactly what to expect next. Also included in the brochure is plenty of helpful information about mortgages, home warranties, closing and move-in. You can also check out the Home Buying 101 section on our blog so you’ll be even more prepared when you meet with our New Home Specialists.
Throughout the entire home building process, you will have open communication with Highland Homes. During construction, you will be paired with a builder who will provide key updates and will be available to answer any questions you may have. In addition, your New Home Specialist is at your service, and will keep you updated on your home’s progress.
On your final walk through, your personal builder will make sure you know the ins and outs of your home so you can enjoy it for many years to come. You will get orientated to your home’s features, discuss home maintenance and warranty, and sign off on your home’s quality completion.
To protect your investment, your new Highland home is covered by a one-year builder warranty, plus a 2-year mechanical systems warranty and 10-year structural warranty through 2-10 Home Buyers Warranty (2-10 HBW). 2-10 HBW only accepts the best builders into their warranty program, and is the nation’s leading home warranty company.
