Looking for solid-surface counters with an easy to maintain finish? You can now choose from on-trend quartz countertop options with two color selections available, Arctic Mist and Arctic Snow, both light colored options that are perfect to pair with almost any cabinets and flooring of your choice.
Quartz has become an increasingly popular countertop choice for several reasons. A non-porous solid surface that does not need to be resealed, quartz is a durable, tough material comprised of 90 percent quartz stone and 10 percent polymers. It is low-maintenance and considerably harder to chip, scratch or stain than other solid surface options. The cost to add quartz in your new home ranges from $3,000-$6,000, depending on the size of the counters in your new home.
In addition, we now offer several new laminate options from Wilsonart. Laminate is increasingly popular for its affordability and variety of style options, with many simulating natural stone and wood. Depending on the community in which you purchase, your home will include either premium laminate with a standard edge, or HD laminate. Options are available to upgrade to a beveled edge for $200-$550, a crescent edge for $325-$675, or HD for $300-$700 if you’re building in a community where premium is included.
Rounding out countertop choices are an array of granite colors, which remain one of the most popular design upgrades selected for Florida new homes.
Do you like to be a trend-setter — or, just looking for something a little different than the normal black, white or stainless steel? Upgrade to today’s hottest appliance trend — black stainless steel! Choose a Whirlpool black stainless side-by-side or French door refrigerator, and add the matching dishwasher, microwave and smooth-top range. Depending on your fridge preference, outfit the entire kitchen in black stainless-steel appliances for just $3,830-$4,230.
We also now offer a Whirlpool freestanding double oven option in standard stainless steel for $1,200. Double ovens are energy-savers since you can choose to heat just the small oven for weeknight casseroles, or use both when you are cooking a feast and need to bake different foods at different temperatures.
