What’s New at the Highland Homes Personal Selection Studio
One of the most unique and exciting experiences about purchasing a new home in Florida from Highland Homes is personalizing your home at the Highland Homes Personal Selection Studio. Your new home should be a reflection of your style and fulfill your needs as well as your dreams. At the Studio, an extensive selection of options are available in every price point, from included and no additional cost to luxurious upgrades, so you may personalize your new home to your unique style, needs and budget.
The Studio showcases a fabulous mix of colors and textures to stylize your home, as well as products which add ease of maintenance and efficiency. When you visit the Personal Selection Studio, your Design Consultant will explain product benefits and help you visualize how your selections will look in your new home. In contrast to looking at pictures or teeny samples, at the Studio you can touch and interact with the products your home will be built with.
We are continually updating and adding to our personalization options to ensure you can choose from products which build the best of modern style and efficiency into your new home. Recently, we renovated the Studio to showcase some of the brand-new selections available for you to choose from.
Included Design Options
On a tight budget? At the Personal Selection Studio you will learn about included features to personalize your home without spending an extra dime! Select from a dazzling array of more than 30 laminate countertop colors, four birch wood cabinet options, and eight standard colors of durable Mohawk stain-resistant carpet. Exterior finishes by Valspar include 18 professional color palettes, plus choose from multiple shingle selections, interior paint colors, and vinyl flooring options, to name a few.
What’s New at the Studio?
Rather than using non-durable and boring fiberglass shower and tub inserts, Highland Homes takes craftsmanship and quality seriously and includes fully-tiled showers and tiled tub surrounds. White ceramic tile is included and for a more customized look, you now have additional tile upgrades to choose from which include modern glass accent bands.
One of the hottest trends in flooring is high-performance wood look tile. This tile provides the lush look of wood, but is actually crafted from durable ceramic which means it can even be used in wet areas such as bathrooms and kitchens. Wood look tile is easy to maintain, more sustainable for our planet and doesn’t fade or warp so you don’t have to panic if Fido has an accident or juice is spilled on your “wood쳌 floors. Highland Homes has three wood look tile options for you to choose from, and we offer a variety of traditional ceramic floor tiles as well.
Decorative and functional, this upgrade option is an easy way to bring a flattering accent to your kitchen. Highland Homes is offering nine new colors to choose from in a 2쳌 x 4쳌 ceramic tile installed in a brick-lay (subway tile) pattern.
Our most popular upgrade is granite kitchen countertops. Not only are they visually appealing, adding an element of elegance and natural beauty, they are durable and add value to your home. When you make the practical choice of investing in granite, Highland Homes includes a stainless steel under mount kitchen sink with a modern waterfall faucet, separate trigger sprayer and built-in soap dispenser.
Four new colors have been added to our selection of granite, along with a medley of new edge finishes. There are now 10 total granite colors and eight edge finishes to choose from.
Premium laminate countertops add the look of granite at a much smaller price. Five additional colors have been added to our premium laminate lineup for a total of more than 35 colors to choose from, which provide a fabulous mix of color and visual texture.
Staggered cabinets have become part of modern kitchen design and add architectural variety as well as additional storage space. Staggered cabinetry above the microwave is now included in select Highland Homes’ communities, and available as an affordable upgrade option in the rest.
Start personalizing your dream home!
Personalizing your home to your style is the most exciting part of building a brand-new home–other than move-in day, of course! In addition to the above mentioned new products, we offer a wide variety of selections for everything from shingles to flooring, electrical to paint, and everything in between.
